So good...the best asian food in Sumner County...PERIOD! Volcano chicken is amazing! The pork egg-rolls good a little expensive!
The food here is phenomenal! A good marker for a Hibachi restaurant is how well they adhere to the desired temperature for the filet minon. Hibachi Jr does it perfectly. The egg rolls are also among the best I've had.
Billy is our server and this is new in our backyard in Hendersonville. The food is very fresh and tasty. Staff is very friendly. The restaurant is really clean. I would highly suggest coming if you have it they're waiting for you. Yum Yum. ;-)
I was hoping for a great hibachi place, but I feel like this one was just okay. It wasn't bad by any means, just not great. It felt a little pricey for the amount of food you got, but it wasn't too bad. The service was good. The place is fairly small and they do not cook in front of you (if you care about that). There are tables for 2-4 but I wouldn't try to bring a group and try to sit together.
We were out shopping and looking for a new place to grab a quick lunch. We spotted Hibachi Jr and decided to give it a try. It is fast food so you have the option of drive through or dine in. We went inside. The selection was good and prices seemed reasonable. We shared a steak and shrimp hibachi and it was plenty for both us with some to go. The staff was nice and greeted us as soon as we walked in. The inside was clean and had some cute decorations around. We will be back the next time we are in the area.
We discovered this place just today. We went there to have lunch at the Chinese buffet at the opposite end of the complex. They had a handwritten sign posted saying they are no longer open on Monday's. Leaving we saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did. Food, service, ambience all excellent. We started with an order of pork egg rolls. They were some of the best we've ever had. My guest ordered the hibachi volcano chicken. He said the heat was just right, and it was delicious. I ordered hibachi filet mignon and added shrimp. It was incredible; as good or better than any I've had at numerous Japanese steak houses. Fried rice, grilled vegetables, and yum yum sauce were all very good. Service was friendly and efficient. We'll be back, and often.
Stopped in on a Wednesday night to try this place. Glad I did. I had the dynamite chicken with a side of fried rice. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Unlike others, the rice wasn't undercooked or overcooked. It was perfect. I'll definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Service was great as well.
